What this is
This is the recipients page under the Transfer module in the merchant dashboard (left nav Transfer → sub-item Recipients; the page heading reads Recipients, subtitle “Manage and organize your payment recipients”). Here you view and manage all saved transfer recipients (beneficiaries): filter by type, currency, scope, or name, view a recipient’s bank and contact information, edit or delete it, and also add a new recipient or send a payment directly to one from this page. Use this page whenever you need to maintain your list of payees before making a transfer.Steps
Open the recipients list:- In the left nav, click Transfer, then click the sub-item Recipients.
- The list shows all saved recipients by default; narrow it down with the filters at the top.
- Type filter: choose All types / Company / Individual.
- Currency filter: select one or more currencies.
- Scope filter: choose All scopes / House Account / Clients Account.
- Recipient name search: look up a recipient by name.
- Applied filters appear as tags under Filtered by; click the x on a tag to remove it, or Clear all to reset.
- Click a row (or its … menu → View details) to open the Recipient details panel on the right.
- In the details panel, click Edit, or use … → Edit recipient to change its information (requires permission).
- Use … → Delete recipient, then confirm in the dialog by clicking Delete (requires permission).

Recipient status:
Recipient details panel fields: Recipient ID, status, recipient name, type; Bank Information (bank name, bank country, account number, routing number, SWIFT code/BIC); Payment Details (payment method, currency); Contact Information (email, phone); Timestamps (created at, updated at). The account number is masked in details (e.g.

Edge cases and troubleshooting
- List shows “No recipients yet”: this account has no recipients yet — the hint reads “Recipients will appear here once activity begins.” Click Add Recipient to create one.
- Filters return “No recipients match your filters”: nothing matches the current filters — the hint reads “Try adjusting your filter criteria.” Click Clear filters or Clear all and try again.
- Can’t see “Add Recipient” / “Edit recipient” / “Delete recipient”: these actions require recipient-management permission — the buttons are hidden without it. Contact your admin or account manager to get access.
- Deleting a recipient: use … → Delete recipient; the dialog shows “Are you sure you want to delete this recipient?” and notes “This action cannot be undone.” Confirm to delete.
- Payment method column shows Local / SWIFT / Card: these represent local clearing, SWIFT international wire, and card payment rails respectively.
- A “Banking session expired” message appears at the top: sign in again to reload real recipient data, as prompted.
Common questions (Q&A)
- Q: Where do I view recipients / manage my transfer payees? A: Left nav Transfer → Recipients opens the recipients page, showing all saved recipients where you can view, filter, edit, and delete them.
- Q: How do I add a new recipient? A: Click Add Recipient in the top right of the recipients page to open the new-recipient form. If you don’t see the button, you lack recipient-management permission — ask your admin or account manager to grant it.
- Q: How do I pay a specific recipient directly? A: Use that row’s … menu and select Pay — it takes you straight into the New Transfer flow with that recipient pre-selected.
- Q: How do I edit or delete a recipient? A: Use the row’s … menu and select Edit recipient or Delete recipient (both require permission); deleting requires a confirmation step and cannot be undone.
- Q: What statuses can a recipient have? A: Active and Inactive.
- Q: What do “Company” and “Individual” mean in the Type column? A: They distinguish whether a recipient is a business entity or a personal account, chosen when the recipient was added.
- Q: What do “Local”, “SWIFT”, and “Card” mean in the Payment method column? A: They’re the three payout rails — local clearing, SWIFT international wire, and card — showing which channel is used to pay that recipient.
- Q: How do I find a recipient by currency / name? A: Use the Currency multi-select filter at the top of the list, or the Recipient name search box.
- Q: How do I export recipient data? A: Click Export in the toolbar to export reconciliation data, or check rows and click Export selected.
- Q: What does a “UQPAY account” recipient in the list mean? A: It’s a recipient set up for internal UQPAY transfers, whose Currency and Bank country columns show ”—”.
- Q: Can I pay multiple recipients in bulk? A: The recipients page itself doesn’t provide a bulk-payment entry point — contact your account manager if you need bulk payment options.
