What this is
This is the main page of the Global Accounts module in the merchant dashboard (left nav Global accounts; page title “Global accounts”, subtitle “Coverage across 200+ regions and countries, supporting multiple currencies”). It is your overview of multi-currency funds — it lists the available balance for every currency you hold, the receiving accounts open under each currency, and the total balance across all currencies converted to one value. Use this page to check balance and distribution per currency, open a new global account, move money between business lines, drill into a currency’s transactions, view a receiving account’s bank details, and download an account statement. Come here whenever you want to know “how much money do I have, how much per currency, what are my receiving account details, or how do I open another currency account.” The top of the page has two tabs: Balances (this page, the per-currency balance overview) and Transactions (the module’s transaction history).Steps
Open Global Accounts:- In the left nav, click Global accounts.
- It opens on the Balances tab by default, showing the total balance and the per-currency balance list.
- The large figure under Available at the top of the page is the total balance converted across all currencies; Total balance ( equivalent) on the right shows which currency it’s currently converted into.
- Click the currency dropdown to the right of the total (default USD) to switch the equivalent total to another currency.
- Click the eye icon next to Available to hide/show the balance amount (shown as dots when hidden).
- Click Show chart at the top right to expand the Balance by Currency bar chart and the Top Currencies breakdown (top 5); click Hide chart to collapse it.
- In the balance list, click a currency row to expand it.
- Depending on your permissions, the expanded row shows Convert (currency exchange) and Transfer quick-entry actions; the receiving accounts under that currency are listed below.
- Click Activity on the currency row to go to Transactions, automatically filtered by that currency.
- Expand a currency and find the target receiving account row.
- Click Detail to view that account’s bank information (account holder, account number/IBAN, SWIFT or local clearing code, bank name, payment reference, etc.).
- Click Statement to download that account’s account confirmation / statement PDF (available once the account is Active).
Fields and statuses
Top summary (right of the total balance area):
Currency balance row (one row per currency):
Receiving account status (expanded account row):
Account details panel fields: this panel is currently displayed in English regardless of dashboard language. Its main fields are Account holder, Account number / IBAN, SWIFT code / Routing number / Sort code / FAST code / ACH routing number (the applicable international or local clearing code, depending on where the account is based), Bank name, Bank address, Payment reference, Currency, Country, and Status. Below that, Capabilities shows Receive funds in (which currencies the account can receive) and Accept funds via (payment method: International SWIFT Transfer / Domestic Local Transfer). The panel has a one-click “Copy the above information as a message” action.
Reminder at the top of the panel: when transferring funds into this account, fill in your Account ID in the Payment reference — leaving it out can delay the funds landing or cause the transfer to be returned.
Edge cases and troubleshooting
- The list shows “No active balances to display”: the account doesn’t hold any currency balance yet; the hint reads “Currency balances will appear here once you receive funds or fund a global account.” Balances appear once you open an account and receive/fund it.
- You don’t see the “Open account” button: opening a global account requires the corresponding permission; if the button isn’t in the top right, your account hasn’t been granted account-opening permission — contact your admin or account manager.
- No “Convert” or “Transfer” quick entry after expanding a currency: these require the exchange and initiate-transfer permissions respectively, and the currency needs an available balance; they’re hidden without permission or with a zero balance — contact your admin or account manager to confirm permissions.
- A receiving account’s “Detail” / “Statement” is greyed out: the account is still Processing — you’ll be able to view details and download the statement once it becomes Active (available once the account is active); expected to activate within about 24 hours.
- An account shows a “Failed” badge: the account failed to open; hover over the badge to see the failure reason. Contact your account manager if you need it reopened or resolved.
- “Banking session expired. Please sign in again to load real wallet data.”: your login session has expired; sign in again to load real balance data.
- The total and ”~ equivalent” don’t quite match reality: the total balance and per-currency equivalents are estimates converted at an indicative rate for reference only — actual figures follow the real account balance and the execution rate.
