What this is

This is the Overview page under the Cards module in the merchant dashboard (left nav Cards → top tab Overview; page subtitle “Balances, card performance & recent activity”). It is the card issuing dashboard home, summarizing three things on one screen: per-currency account balances, card performance (active cards, decline rate, validation rate, reversal rate), and recent balance activity. Use this page to quickly check overall card health, whether balances are sufficient, and whether declines are high — or to jump to issuing a card, viewing cardholders, viewing transactions, or exporting reports.

Steps

Open Overview:
  1. In the left nav, click Cards.
  2. Select the Overview tab at the top (siblings: Cards, Cardholders, Transactions, Low balance).
View balances and deposit:
  1. The top of the page shows a balance card per currency, each showing that currency’s total, Available, and Margin, plus the approximate USD value.
  2. Click Deposit on the right of the section header to start a deposit (move funds from your bank account to the card issuing account).
  3. Click a balance card to jump to that currency’s transaction list.
View card performance:
  1. In the Card performance panel, the ring on the left shows current active cards / capacity and a health label.
  2. In the middle, By card program switches between “All programs” and a specific card program; the right side then shows that program’s Decline rate / Validation rate / Reversal rate plus Requests, Declined, and Reversals.
  3. Click Reports at the top right to go to the reports page.
View recent activity / use quick actions:
  1. The Balance activity table shows recent balance movements (preview); click View all to open the full transaction list.
  2. The Quick actions panel on the right provides four entries: Issue card, Cardholders, Activity, Reports.

Fields and statuses

Balance card fields (one card per currency):
Balance cards show the currencies enabled on your account (default order SGD, USD, XUSD, HKD); new accounts or accounts with no data show SGD / USD at zero.
Card performance panel: Health labels (auto-determined by decline rate): Balance activity columns (only these 5 columns shown): Transaction status: Transaction types:
This page’s transaction-type wording differs slightly from the Ledger page (which uses a more granular type vocabulary); rely on what each page actually shows.

Edge cases and troubleshooting

  • Balance cards show 0 or only SGD/USD: when a new account has no currencies enabled yet or has no data, it shows SGD / USD zero-value placeholders — this is not an error.
  • Balance activity shows “No balance activity yet”: there have been no balance movements; the hint reads “Movements across your card balances will show up here”, and entries appear automatically once there are transactions.
  • Card performance shows the “Elevated declines” health label: the selected program’s decline rate is notably high; this is a static indicator — why declines happen needs to be investigated via transactions/ledger and is out of scope for this page.
  • No “Deposit” button: the deposit entry may be hidden by account configuration, or you are in a cardholder role (cardholder roles can only access cards and card transactions).
  • You only want one card program’s data: select that program under “By card program” and the metrics on the right switch to it.

Common questions (Q&A)

  • Q: Where do I find the card issuing overview? / Where’s the cards home? A: Left nav Cards → top Overview tab.
  • Q: How do I see my card balances per currency? A: The balance cards at the top of the Overview page — one per currency, showing total, Available, Margin, and approximate USD.
  • Q: What’s the difference between Available and Margin? A: Available = the balance you can use now; Margin = the portion frozen as margin; the total at the top of the balance card is the sum of both.
  • Q: How do I deposit to the card issuing account? A: Click Deposit on the right of the Overview page header to move funds from your bank account to the card issuing account.
  • Q: Where do I see decline / validation / reversal rates? A: The Card performance panel on the Overview page, viewable by “All programs” or a specific card program.
  • Q: What do the “Watch” and “Elevated declines” health labels mean? A: They’re auto-determined by decline rate — a normal rate is Healthy, elevated is Watch, and notably high is Elevated declines.
  • Q: How is the Overview’s balance activity different from the Transactions page? A: Overview shows only the latest few as a preview; click View all to open the searchable/filterable full transaction list.
  • Q: What can quick actions do? A: One-click to issue a card, view cardholders, view financial activity, and export reports.
  • Q: Why can’t I see the Deposit button / Overview page? A: The account may have hidden that entry, or you’re in a cardholder role (which can only access cards and card transactions).
