What this is
This is the Plan & Billing page under Settings in the merchant dashboard (page subtitle “Manage your subscription plan, payment account, and view billing history.”). Here you check which plan you’re subscribed to, its status, the next invoice amount and date, set which wallet auto-charges the subscription fee each cycle, and view/download past invoices. Come here to upgrade/downgrade your plan, switch between monthly and yearly billing, change the autopay wallet, or download invoices for reconciliation. Clicking Change plan on this page opens a full-screen plan picker to compare plan features and confirm a change — this page covers the plan picker too.Steps
View your current plan and billing:- Go to Settings -> Plan & Billing.
- The Current plan card at the top shows the plan name, a subscription-status badge, the next invoice, payment account, and billing cycle.
- The Payment method card on the right shows the current autopay wallet; Billing history below lists past invoices.
- Click Change plan in the top-right of the Current plan card to open the full-screen plan picker.
- At the top, toggle the billing cadence between Monthly and Yearly.
- In the three plan cards (Free / Pro / Enterprise), click the button for your target plan — its label varies by context: “Upgrade to…”, “Switch to…”, “Current plan”, “Start free trial”, or “Contact sales”.
- The Compare all features table below lets you compare features and limits across all three tiers in detail.
- In the confirmation dialog that appears, choose the Pay from wallet used for the charge, review the billing amount, and click Subscribe / Switch plan / Schedule downgrade to confirm.
- Click the “x” in the top-right to close the picker and return to the Plan & Billing page.
- In the Payment method card, pick a wallet from the Autopay method dropdown.
- Click Save changes; click Cancel to revert if you change your mind.

Payment method card fields: Autopay method (the selected wallet), billing cadence (Monthly/Yearly), and an estimated bill (the next period’s estimated amount; the actual charge is converted from the selected wallet’s currency at the exchange rate applied when billing runs).
Edge cases and troubleshooting
- Can’t see “Change plan” or “Save changes” buttons: usually a missing billing-management permission — you can view but not change; ask an admin to grant it.
- A sub-account can’t see Change plan / Payment method / Billing history: when a sub-account inherits the parent account’s subscription, the plan is managed centrally by the parent account — this page shows the current plan read-only and hides payment method and billing history, and the plan can’t be changed here.
- Payment method shows “No active subscription”: the account has no active subscription yet — pick a plan in the picker to subscribe first, then set up autopay.
- Message: “No banking wallets available”: there’s no wallet available for charging yet — open a wallet under Global Accounts first, then come back here to set up autopay.
- The “Save changes” button is greyed out: the wallet hasn’t been changed, or the next invoice amount is 0 (e.g. Free plan needs no charge) — nothing to save.
- A downgrade doesn’t take effect immediately: upgrades/switches apply immediately; downgrades are scheduled for the next renewal, keeping current plan benefits until then. Once scheduled, a banner appears at the top, and you can click “Cancel downgrade” to revert.
- Enterprise has no listed price, only “Contact sales”: Enterprise is a custom package — clicking it opens an inquiry email to the sales team rather than a self-serve checkout.
- The invoice’s “PDF” button won’t click: that period’s invoice is unpaid and has no downloadable invoice yet — download becomes available once it’s paid.
- Billing history shows “No invoices yet”: the account hasn’t been charged yet — free trials and the Free tier don’t generate invoices.
Common questions (Q&A)
- Q: Where do I see which plan I’m subscribed to? A: Settings -> Plan & Billing; the Current plan card at the top shows your current plan, status, and next invoice.
- Q: How do I upgrade/downgrade my plan? A: Click Change plan on the Current plan card to open the plan picker, choose the target plan, and confirm in the dialog. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades apply at the next renewal.
- Q: How do I switch to yearly billing? A: In the plan picker, toggle “Monthly” to “Yearly” at the top, then pick a plan and confirm.
- Q: What plans are available? A: Free, Pro, and Enterprise; compare each tier’s features and limits in the “Compare all features” table on the plan picker.
- Q: Where is the subscription fee charged from? How do I change the wallet? A: Each period charges the autopay wallet set under Payment method. To change it: pick a new wallet from the Autopay method dropdown, then click Save changes.
- Q: How do I download an invoice? A: In the Billing history table, click PDF on the corresponding row to view or download that invoice.
- Q: Can I undo a downgrade? A: Yes. A downgrade is only scheduled for the next renewal; before it takes effect, a banner appears at the top — click Cancel downgrade to revert and keep your current plan.
- Q: What does the “Past due” status mean? A: The subscription has an overdue, unpaid invoice — settle the charge promptly (make sure the autopay wallet has sufficient balance) to avoid affecting service.
- Q: What does the “Downgrade scheduled” status mean? A: You’ve scheduled a downgrade to a lower plan at the next renewal; you keep your current plan’s benefits for the rest of this period.
- Q: Why can I only view, not change, the plan/payment method? A: Usually a missing billing-management permission, or your account inherits the parent account’s subscription (managed centrally by the parent) — contact your admin.
- Q: What’s the price of Enterprise? A: Enterprise is a custom package with no fixed listed price — click “Enterprise / Contact sales” to discuss pricing with the sales team.
- Q: Setting up autopay says there’s no wallet available — what do I do? A: Open a wallet under Global Accounts first, then come back to Plan & Billing’s payment method and select it as the autopay wallet.
- Q: Does the estimated bill match the actual charge? A: The estimated bill is shown in the plan’s billing currency; the actual charge is taken from the selected wallet, converted at the exchange rate in effect if the wallet’s currency differs.
- Q: Does the Free plan generate invoices? A: No — the Free plan and free trials don’t generate invoices; billing history will show “No invoices yet”.
- Q: How do I compare features across plans? A: In the plan picker, use the Compare all features table below to compare limits and features across Free/Pro/Enterprise item by item.
