What this is

This is the Activity tab on the Overview page under the Payments module in the merchant dashboard (page title “All activity”, subtitle “View activity history across all balances”). Reached by clicking Overview in the left nav under Payments, then selecting the Activity tab at the top (note: the sidebar also has a separate standalone Transactions item — that is a different page; be careful not to confuse the two). This tab shows every fund movement across your account balance — every payment, deposit, payout, refund, settlement, dispute, fee, and adjustment shows up here — filterable by type / status / currency / date / keyword, with the amount, fees, running balance, and detail for each entry, plus export for reconciliation. Use this page whenever you need to review activity, reconcile, or check the fees or balance impact of a specific transaction.

Steps

Open the activity list:
  1. Click Overview in the left nav under Payments (not the separate standalone Transactions item in the sidebar).
  2. Select the Activity tab at the top.
  3. The list shows all transactions from the last 3 months by default; use the toolbar filters to narrow it down.
Filter and search (toolbar, filters stack):
  1. Date range: defaults to Last 3 months; you can pick another range or All time.
  2. Transaction type: check one or more types (Payment / Deposit / Payout / Transfer / Refund / Settlement / Dispute / Fee / Adjustment & Reserve) — multi-select supported.
  3. Status: check Completed / Pending / Failed — multi-select supported.
  4. Currency: check one or more of USD, EUR, GBP, SGD, HKD, JPY, CNH, AUD.
  5. Search: search by reference ID or description (placeholder “Search by ID, description…”).
  6. Active filters appear as tags under Filtered by; click the x on a tag to remove it, or click Clear all to reset everything.
View a single transaction’s detail: click a row (or its menu → View details) to slide out the Transaction Detail panel on the right, showing the amount breakdown, balance impact, transaction info, and timeline (see “Fields and statuses” below). Export:
  • Bulk export: click Export in the toolbar to open the Export Report dialog and generate a reconciliation report by currency/date; the report generates asynchronously — download it from the Reports page once ready.
  • Export selected rows: check rows in the table (selection works across pages, up to 100 at a time); an action bar showing the selected count appears at the top — click Export selected to download the selected transactions as a CSV directly.

Fields and statuses

List columns: Transaction types (top-level categories):
Each top-level category also has more specific subtypes (e.g. Payment Reversal, Pre-auth Payment, Refund Fee, Available Balance Freeze/Unfreeze) that appear as the specific transaction category in the detail view; the Transaction type filter uses the 9 top-level categories above.
Transaction status: Top summary bar: when filtered to a single currency, shows that currency’s Total In, Total Out, and Net; regardless of currency filter, it also shows the overall Total (transaction count) plus separate counts for Completed / Pending / Failed. “Transaction Detail” panel fields:
  • Amount Breakdown: Gross amount, Processing fee, Net amount.
  • Balance Impact: Running balance (your account balance after this entry).
  • Transaction Info: Reference ID, Currency, Scope, Description, Source.
  • Timeline: this transaction’s Completed (or Failed) time and Created time.
  • Related records: if this entry is linked to a payment/refund/payout, the panel shows Related Payment / Related Refund / Related Payout, with a link to View payment details / View refund details / View payout details that jumps to the underlying record.
The Payout funds and Manage payout (including managing your payout schedule and bank accounts) buttons in the top right of the page belong to payout management, are shown based on account permissions, and are covered in detail on the Payouts tab.

Edge cases and troubleshooting

  • List shows “No transactions found”: there are no transactions in the current range yet; the hint reads “Transactions will appear here once activity begins.”
  • Filtered list shows “No transactions match your filters”: nothing matches the current filters; the hint reads “Try adjusting your filter criteria.” — click Clear filters or Clear all and try again.
  • Only seeing the last 3 months by default: the list filters to the last 3 months by default; to see older records, widen the date range or select All time.
  • A row’s “Running Balance” shows ”—”: only Completed transactions carry a running balance; Pending/Failed transactions don’t show one.
  • “Fees” shows ”—”: this transaction has no fees.
  • You can only check up to 100 rows to export: once you hit the cap you can’t select more, and a selection-limit prompt appears (“You can select up to 100 transactions at a time.”) — use the toolbar’s Export to generate a full report by currency/date for larger ranges.
  • Nothing happens when you click “Export selected”: you need to check at least one row first; nothing downloads if none are selected.

Common questions (Q&A)

  • Q: Where do I see my account activity / transaction detail? A: Click Overview under Payments in the left nav (not the separate Transactions item in the sidebar), then the Activity tab at the top — the list is every transaction on your account.
  • Q: How do I filter by transaction type? What types are there? A: Check them in the Transaction type filter in the toolbar; multi-select is supported. The top-level categories are: Payment, Deposit, Payout, Transfer, Refund, Settlement, Dispute, Fee, Adjustment & Reserve.
  • Q: How do I see transactions for just one currency / date range? A: Use Currency in the toolbar to check currencies, and the date range picker for a period (or All time); filters can be combined.
  • Q: How do I check a transaction’s fee and post-transaction balance? A: The Fees column shows that entry’s fee, and Running Balance shows the account balance after it posted; open the row’s Transaction Detail for the full amount breakdown.
  • Q: Why is “Running Balance” blank (”—”) for some rows? A: Only Completed transactions show a running balance; Pending or Failed transactions don’t.
  • Q: What do the ”+” and ”-” before the amount mean? A: A green ”+” is a credit (money in); a red ”-” is a debit (money out).
  • Q: What statuses can a transaction have? A: Completed, Pending, or Failed.
  • Q: How do I export transactions for reconciliation? A: Click Export in the toolbar to open the Export Report dialog and generate a reconciliation report by currency and date — it generates asynchronously, then download it from the Reports page once ready; you can also check specific rows and click Export selected to download a CSV directly.
  • Q: How many selected transactions can I export at once? A: Up to 100; for a larger range, use Export to generate a full report instead.
  • Q: How do I find a specific transaction by number or description? A: Use Search in the toolbar, which searches by reference ID or description.
  • Q: Can I see the original payment/refund/payout behind a transaction? A: Yes. Open the transaction detail — if it’s linked to another record, the panel shows Related Payment/Refund/Payout, and you can click View … details to jump to the original record.
  • Q: Exactly where is this transaction right now / when will it settle? A: That’s the real-time status of an individual transaction — rely on that entry’s Transaction Detail status and timeline; this material doesn’t provide conclusions for specific cases.
