What this is
This is the Payment Methods page under the Payment module in the merchant dashboard (left nav Payment → Payment Methods; page subtitle “Manage and apply for payment methods and products for your business”). Merchants use this page to view every payment method on the account (such as Visa, Mastercard, WeChat Pay, Alipay, and crypto), see each payment product’s activation status under a method, apply for methods not yet enabled, resubmit returned applications, and review application history. Use this page whenever you need to know which payment methods you can accept, how to enable a specific method, or where an application currently stands in review. You must configure your Business Category (MCC) before applying for a payment method — it determines which payment methods your business can enable. If it isn’t configured, a banner at the top of the page prompts you to set it up first.
Steps
Open and browse payment methods:- In the left nav, click Payment → Payment Methods.
- The list groups all payment methods by type; narrow it down using the Type tabs at the top (All Types / Card / E-Wallet / Bank / Crypto), the Status dropdown, or Search.
- Click a row to expand it and view that method’s individual payment products (product name, product code, flow, currencies, settlement, status, and supported features).
- If the yellow banner “Business Category (MCC) Setup Required” appears at the top, click Set Up Now.
- In the dialog, search and select your business category (choose from Recommended Categories or click View All Available Categories), then click Confirm Selection.
- A confirmation dialog warns that this is a one-time configuration and cannot be changed through the system once confirmed — check your selection carefully, then click Confirm. Once configured, the banner turns green and shows Configured.
- Click Apply for Payment Method in the top right, or open the ⋯ menu on a row and choose Apply, or expand a row and click Apply.
- Complete and submit the application form (see the application page for the full flow).
- If a payment method is not available under your business category, the row shows a Not Available tag, and attempting to apply shows a message that the method does not apply to your business category.
- Expand the payment method; a returned product shows Pending Info along with the return reason.
- Click Resubmit (or Resubmit Application in the detail panel), address the feedback, and submit again.
- Open the ⋯ menu on the row and choose View details.
- A detail panel slides in from the right, showing an overview (type / region / channel / product count), payment products grouped by channel (Online / In-Person), uploaded documents, and an Application History timeline (Application Submitted → Under Review → Approved / Rejected / Returned).

Edge cases and troubleshooting
- List shows “No payment methods yet”: there are no payment methods to display yet; the hint reads “Payment methods will appear here once configured.”
- Filtered list is empty: the current Type / Status / Search filter has no matches; click Clear all and try again.
- No “Apply for Payment Method” button or “Apply” entry: you likely lack permission to apply for payment methods — ask an admin to grant it.
- Banner asks you to set up Business Category (MCC) first: MCC setup must be completed before applying; click Set Up Now to select and confirm. Note that MCC is a one-time configuration and cannot be changed through the system once confirmed — double-check before confirming.
- A payment method shows “Not Available” / applying shows a message it doesn’t apply: the method isn’t supported under your current business category. Contact support or your account manager if you believe this is incorrect or need help.
- A product’s status is “Pending Info” (returned): you need to supply more information; expand it to view the return reason, then click Resubmit and follow the prompts.
- A product’s status is “Rejected”: that product’s application did not pass; expand it to see the rejection reason, and resubmit if you want to try again.
- Overall status is “Action Required”: the method has both enabled products and products that were rejected or returned; expand the row and handle each one that needs resubmission.
