# I Have Traded the Wrong Amount, How Do I Amend It?

> How to correct a wrong conversion amount using split and cancel in UQPAY.

If you've purchased an excessive amount, you can correct this within Virtual Account using a two-step process:

**Step 1: Split the excess**

Use the **Split** button on the conversion details page to split the excess amount that you don't need from the conversion. This creates a new conversion with your specified amount while reducing the original conversion accordingly.

**Step 2: Cancel the excess conversion**

Use the **Cancel** button on the conversion details page to cancel the newly created conversion containing the excess. The relevant cost for this cancellation will be provided both before and after the cancellation.
