# Is There Any Limit on the Amount of UnionPay App QR Code Payment

> Payment limits for UnionPay QR code payments in merchant-presented and consumer-presented modes.

Yes, payment limits apply depending on the payment mode:

| Payment Mode                           | Maximum Amount                                                 |
| -------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Merchant-presented mode (static code)  | 5,000 CNY                                                      |
| Consumer-presented mode (dynamic code) | 50,000 CNY or the cardholder's card limit (whichever is lower) |

The dynamic code option allows for higher transaction amounts, with the actual limit being the lower of the specified ceiling and the individual card's limit.
