# What Is Operation Password

> Learn about the operation password and how it adds a security layer to your UQPAY account.

An operation password serves as an additional security layer for UQPAY accounts. When you initiate sensitive transactions -- such as processing refunds or updating your login credentials -- the system requires you to enter this password.

This dual-password approach protects your account from unauthorized access in case your primary login password becomes compromised.
