# Unfamiliar IP Address Found in Account Recent Activity, What to Do

> Steps to take when you notice an unknown IP address in your UQPAY account activity.

If an unknown IP address appears in your account's recent activity, take immediate action to protect your account:

1. Change your login password right away, along with any other related passwords.
2. Enable MFA two-step verification to further strengthen your account security.
