# Restricted Countries

> Countries and regions where UQPAY cannot send or receive funds.

UQPAY enforces restrictions on fund transfers due to compliance obligations. UQPAY cannot receive funds from or send money to the following countries, although this may be subject to change.

* Crimea
* Cuba
* Donetsk region of Ukraine
* Iran
* Kherson region of Ukraine
* Libya
* Luhansk region of Ukraine
* Myanmar\*
* North Korea
* Russia
* South Sudan
* Sudan
* Syria
* Venezuela
* Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine

## Special circumstances

**Myanmar**: Due to military coup conditions, onshore banks have been instructed to remain closed. UQPAY's banking provider is unable to process any payments to Myanmar until further notice.

**Ukraine**: All payments to Ukraine remain subject to delays due to the ongoing conflict and the increased sanctions risk. UQPAY commits to ongoing monitoring with regular updates.
