# How to Use MFA Apps

> Steps to set up Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator for UQPAY MFA.

To configure multi-factor authentication using Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, follow these steps:

1. Open the authenticator application on your device.
2. Tap the plus (+) icon located in the top right corner.
3. Select the option to scan a code.
4. Scan the QR code displayed on the UQPAY binding page to complete the process.
