# Transactions (All Transactions, Acquiring)

> The merchant dashboard acquiring Transactions > All transactions page — view every acquiring payment on the account, filter by date/amount/status/currency/payment method/keyword, and from here view payment details, refund, cancel, add to a block list, and export payment reports.

## What this is

This is the **All transactions** page under the **Payment** (acquiring) module in the merchant dashboard (left nav **Transactions** → top **All transactions** tab, with a sibling **Refunds** tab; page title "Transactions", subtitle "Monitor and manage transactions and refunds"). Merchants use this page to view every acquiring payment on the account, filter by date, amount, status, currency, payment method, or keyword, open any payment for full details, perform refund, cancel, or add-to-block-list actions on eligible payments, and export payment reports. Use this page to look up a specific payment, find one by order number or customer email, see why a payment failed, or issue a customer refund.

## Steps

Open and browse the payment list:

1. In the left nav, click **Transactions**.
2. Select the **All transactions** tab at the top (the sibling **Refunds** tab is a separate refund list page).
3. The list shows the last 3 months of payments by default; narrow it down with the filter bar at the top.

Filter and search:

1. **Date**: choose a time range (last 3 months by default, or select **All time** or a custom start/end date).
2. **Amount**: set a min/max amount range.
3. **Status**: check one or more payment statuses, multi-select supported (see table below).
4. **Currency**: check one or more currencies. Selecting a **single currency** is required for the status bar to show an **Amount** total and for the chart to display by amount.
5. **Payment method**: check one or more payment methods (Card, various wallets, etc.).
6. **Search**: search by Payment ID, Merchant order ID, or customer email.
7. Active filters appear as tags in the **Filtered by** row; click the "x" on a tag to remove it, or click **Clear all** to clear everything.

View stats and the trend chart: the status bar below the filter bar shows **Total / Volume / Succeeded / Pending / Failed**; click **Show chart** to expand the trend chart, toggling between bar/line chart and "Amount / Count" (the amount view requires a single currency to be selected).

View a single payment's details: click any row (or open the row's **⋯** menu → **View details**) to slide in the **Payment details** panel.

Act on a single payment: open the **⋯** menu at the end of a row; available actions depend on that payment's state — View details, Copy Payment ID, Copy Order ID, and (with permission, when applicable) Refund, Cancel.

Refund a payment: click **Refund** from the **⋯** menu or the details panel, then in the "Send refund" dialog enter the refund amount (not exceeding the refundable amount), select a reason (Duplicate / Fraudulent / Requested by customer / Other), optionally add details, and click **Refund** to submit.

Cancel a payment: click **Cancel** from the **⋯** menu or the details panel, then click **Confirm** in the confirmation dialog.

Export: click **Export** in the top right to open the "Export report" dialog and generate a payment report by date type and currency range — the report is generated asynchronously; download it from the **Reports** page once ready. You can also check multiple rows and click **Export selected** on the selection bar to export those records directly.

**Payment details panel** sections:

* **Transaction Overview**: Payment ID, Merchant order ID, Account ID, Type, Customer email, Description, plus amount and status.
* **Payment Breakdown**: Payment amount, Processing fee, Net amount, Net settlement time.
* **Payment Method**: Method; card payments also show card number, expiry, card type, country, and billing address.
* **Details**: Created, Completed, Last updated, and Risk evaluation (**Normal** or **Blocked**).
* **Recent Activity**: a timeline of this payment's status changes.

**Refund dialog fields** ("Send refund"): Refundable Amount (read-only, the maximum refundable for this payment), Refund amount (must not exceed the refundable amount and must be greater than 0), Reason (Duplicate / Fraudulent / Requested by customer / Other), additional details (optional). After submitting, a message reads "Refunds take 5-10 days to appear on a customer's statement."

**Add to block list** (details panel **⋯** → **Add to block list**): choose to block by Card number / Email / IP address, and set when to remove it (Do not remove / 30 days / 90 days / 180 days / 1 year). Once added, all future charges with matching characteristics are blocked — use this only when you're confident the party is not a legitimate customer.

## Edge cases and troubleshooting

* **List shows "No payments yet"**: the account has no payment records yet; the hint reads "Payments will appear here once activity begins."
* **"No payments match your filters"**: the current filter has no matches; the hint reads "Try adjusting your filter criteria." Click **Clear filters** or **Clear all** and try again.
* **Status bar doesn't show an "Amount" total / chart's amount view is grayed out**: select a single currency in the **Currency** filter first; with multiple or no currencies selected, only counts are shown (message: "Select one currency to view amount").
* **No "Refund" or "Cancel" in the "⋯" menu**: this payment currently can't be refunded/cancelled, or your account lacks the relevant permission.
* **Refund amount won't submit / gets blocked**: the refund amount must be greater than 0 and not exceed the **Refundable Amount** — exceeding it triggers "Exceeds the refundable amount."
* **Bulk-selection export has a cap**: up to 100 rows can be checked for export at a time; once the cap is reached you can't check more, and the UI shows a message that the limit has been reached.
* **Reference ID / Order ID too long to display fully**: the list truncates these values — hover the row and use the inline copy button, or use **Copy Payment ID / Copy Order ID** from the **⋯** menu.

## Common questions (Q\&A)

* **Q: Where do I see my payment / transaction records?** A: Left nav **Transactions** → top **All transactions** tab — the list shows every acquiring payment on the account.
* **Q: How do I find a payment by order number / customer email?** A: Use **Search** at the top, which supports searching by Payment ID, Merchant order ID, or customer email.
* **Q: What payment statuses are there?** A: Requires payment method, Requires customer action, Requires capture (funds authorized, awaiting capture), Pending, Succeeded, Refunded, Cancelled, Failed.
* **Q: What does status "Requires customer action" mean?** A: This payment is waiting on the customer to complete extra verification or action (e.g. 3D Secure) and hasn't gone through yet.
* **Q: How do I refund a customer?** A: Find the payment, click **Refund** from the **⋯** menu or the details panel, enter the refund amount, select a reason, and click **Refund** to submit. Refunds generally appear on the customer's statement within 5-10 days.
* **Q: Can I refund more than the original payment amount?** A: No — you can only refund up to the **Refundable Amount**; anything over that is blocked.
* **Q: How do I cancel a payment?** A: Click **Cancel** from the **⋯** menu or the details panel, then confirm (requires cancel permission, and the payment must currently be cancellable).
* **Q: Why don't some payments show "Refund" or "Cancel"?** A: That payment's current status doesn't support refund/cancel, or your account lacks the corresponding permission.
* **Q: Why doesn't the "Amount" figure show in the stats?** A: The amount total only shows when the **Currency** filter has a single currency selected; with multiple or none selected, only counts are shown.
* **Q: How do I export payment data / reports?** A: Click **Export** in the top right, generate a payment report by date type and currency in the "Export report" dialog — it's generated asynchronously and downloadable from the **Reports** page once ready; or check rows and click **Export selected** to export those directly.
* **Q: What does "Add to block list" do?** A: It blocks a card number/email/IP so future charges with the same characteristics are blocked, with an optional auto-removal timer; use it only when you're confident the party isn't a legitimate customer.
* **Q: What does "Blocked" mean under "Risk evaluation" in the details?** A: It means this payment's risk evaluation result is "Blocked"; "Normal" means the evaluation result is normal.
* **Q: What's the difference between All transactions and the Refunds tab?** A: **All transactions** lists every acquiring payment; **Refunds** is a separate list of refund records.
* **Q: What exact step is this payment at / when will it post?** A: This is a single payment's real-time progress — refer to the status and **Recent Activity** timeline in the details panel; this corpus doesn't provide case-by-case conclusions.
